Management Committee

The Management Committee of the India Forum, including office bearers is drawn from within the members of India Forum. It  functions under the guidance of the Vice Patron and the Director, and is primarily responsible for planning and execution of various programmes of the India Forum, maintenance of discipline among the members and upholding the decorum of the club, maintenance of accounts of the Forum, etc. The Management Committee can express its views on the day-to-day functioning of the club or any other policy matter and give its recommendations to the Vice Patron for his consideration.

        To carry out the day-to-day affairs of the India Forum, the following office bearers are selected by the Vice Patron from amongst the Management committee Members.

(1)  President
(2)  Secretary
(3)  Programme Coordinator
(4)  Treasurer

All office bearers including the President are to hold the office for a one year term. The extension of the term is at the discretion of the Vice-Patron.

P r e s i d e n t   &   V i c e  P r e s i d e n t

The President of the Forum acts as the Chief Executive Officer of the Forum. The President reports to the Director of the India Forum and carries out the day-to-day activities of the Forum in coordination with the other office bearers. The President deals with all regular business of the Forum in consultation with the Management Committee in the best interests of the Forum. In absence of presdent the vice president will be performing the duties.

S e c r e t a r y

The Secretary of India Forum is in charge of all administrative activities of the forum including keeping the minutes of each management Committee meeting. Secretary actively participates and coordinates with the President and other office-bearers in carrying out the day-to-day activities of the Forum.

P r o g r a m C o o r d i n a t o r

The Program Coordinator formulates the annual work plan in consultation with the Committee members and also coordinates the activities of the Forum with the Consulate and sponsors of various events identified by the Committee.

T r e a s u r e r

Treasurer reviews the expenditure of the Forum and submits a detailed statement of accounts after each of the India Forum functions and keeps a tab on the budgetary position of the forum. He is to present a report on the financial activities of the forum at the Annual General Body Meeting of the Forum.
